Water Heater Problems. It may be time to get a new water heater if your hot water heater tank leaks, you hear rumbling noises in the heater its efficiency is obviously declining. Get it replaced, and by a licensed professional (us)! Note that you need a permit now to replace your water heater.

Toilet Always Running.  Remove the lid from the top of the tank and check to see if the tank stopper (the plug at the bottom of the tank) is sealing properly over the drain hole. Sometimes in-tank water fresheners can interfere with the flushing mechanism, or the chain gets in the way.

Garbage Disposal Stops Working. Before anything else, check the plug under the sink to see if the disposal is still plugged in. If any object falls into the disposal, DO NOT attempt to remove it on your own. Call a professional plumber (US!) to ensure it's safely removed, and to get your disposal fixed or replaced.
